Something that I have contributed to the Animas quill this year is my photographic experience. I have taken and edited multiple photos that have made it into the final quill. I took multiple photos on the sophomore camping trip at the beginning of the year and I edited all of the photos into CMYK for the final printed version. This year being part of the quill I have learned how to convert photos to CMYK. I also learned what CMYK is CMYK is a color profile. instead of having a photo in RGB or red green blue you have it in cyan magenta yellow and black. This color profile ends up being better for printing documents in the newspaper. I hope to take more photos and do more photojournalism next semester, I would also like to develop my writing skills by writing more next semester. This semester I did not write many stories on my own and I would like to change that and write more next semester.
